Terms of sale
Last updated: 23 October 2026
In short: submitting the form on the website is a request, not a purchase. The contract is only formed with our written order confirmation, and you only pay after receiving it. Parts are made to order, so there is no right of withdrawal, but the conformity guarantee always applies.

2What we sell
FDM 3D printing of parts made from the customer's files, drawings or instructions, in PLA, PETG, ABS and ASA, plus 3D scanning and reverse engineering services. Every part is custom-made for the individual customer.
3Online estimate, quotes and prices
- Prices shown in the online estimate are indicative and calculated automatically from the file. For parts up to 35 × 35 × 35 cm the website shows a price for online ordering; for larger parts a price range, to be confirmed with a quote.
- Prices of individual parts are shown excluding VAT ("+ VAT") and shipping; the total including VAT (Italian VAT 22%) is shown in the cart and in the summary before sending. For customers based outside Italy, the applicable VAT, or the reverse charge for EU businesses with a VAT number, is stated in the order confirmation, which always shows the total including VAT, shipping and any other items.
- Online orders have a minimum order value of €50 + VAT, shown in the cart.
- Written quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
4How the contract is formed
- Submitting the form on the website (quote request or online order) is an order proposal by the customer and does not yet bind either party.
- After checking the files, we email you an order confirmation with the final price, material, quantity, lead time and shipping, or a proposed change if the file needs adjustments or the price changes.
- The contract is formed when you receive our order confirmation and pay the amount stated. We may refuse an order, for example if the file cannot be printed or its content is unlawful.
5Payment
Payment is made only after the order confirmation, by PayPal or bank transfer, as stated in the confirmation. The website does not request or store payment card details. Production starts once we receive payment, unless otherwise agreed with business customers.
6Customer files and design responsibility
- The customer declares that they hold the rights to the files and drawings they send and that the object does not infringe third-party rights (patents, trademarks, copyright) or the law. We refuse to print weapons, weapon parts and unlawful objects.
- The customer is responsible for the design: shape, dimensions, strength and suitability of the part for its intended use. On request we give technical advice, but the final decision rests with the customer.
- Files remain the customer's property and are treated confidentially; on request we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
7Characteristics of FDM printing
FDM printing builds the part layer by layer. The following are normal characteristics of the technology, not defects:
- visible layer lines and a stepped effect on curved or inclined surfaces;
- rougher or marked areas where supports rested (see how supports work);
- slight colour differences between filament batches;
- indicative dimensional tolerances of ±0.5% (minimum ±0.5 mm), unless other values are agreed in writing;
- for sectioned parts, the joint lines between the pieces.
Assembly, gluing, sanding and painting are not included. If you request them, they can be carried out by our external partners under a separate quote.
8Lead times
Lead times are stated in the order confirmation and run from payment. They are accurate estimates but may vary for reasons beyond our control (for example courier delays or breakdowns); in case of delay we will inform you immediately. If the delay exceeds the stated date by more than 30 days, you may cancel the order and obtain a refund of the amount paid.
9Shipping and collection
- We ship within Italy and abroad by courier; the cost is stated in the order confirmation. Collection from our workshop in Solbiate Arno is possible by appointment.
- On delivery, check the packaging: if it is damaged, accept the parcel "with reservation" and write to us within 8 days with a few photos.
- For consumers, risk passes on delivery; for business customers, on handover to the courier, unless otherwise agreed.
10Right of withdrawal
Parts are made to the customer's specifications from their files: therefore the right of withdrawal does not apply (Art. 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU; Art. 59(1)(c) of the Italian Consumer Code). The same applies to 3D scanning and reverse engineering services already fully performed with your agreement. You can cancel a request free of charge until you have paid.
11Guarantee
- Consumers: the legal guarantee of conformity of 24 months from delivery applies (Arts. 128 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code). Defects must be reported within 2 months of discovery.
- Businesses and professionals: defects must be reported in writing within 8 days of discovery, and claims become time-barred one year after delivery (Art. 1495 of the Italian Civil Code).
- Conformity is assessed against the order confirmation and the FDM characteristics described in section 7. If the part does not conform, we reprint it or, if that is not possible, refund the price.
12Limitation of liability
For business customers, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the order value. We are not liable for the use of parts in applications critical to personal safety (for example structural parts, medical or protective devices) unless agreed in writing. Consumers retain all their statutory rights.
13Privacy
Personal data is processed as described in the privacy policy.
14Applicable law and jurisdiction
Italian law applies. For consumers, the court of their place of residence has jurisdiction, and any more favourable mandatory rules of their EU country of residence remain applicable. For business customers, the Court of Busto Arsizio (Italy) has exclusive jurisdiction.
This is a translation: in case of discrepancies, the Italian text prevails.
